Roller Coaters

clack......clack......clack.......clack......

When you decide to adopt, it's like getting in line for a really neat, new roller coaster. All the paper work, fingerprints, interviews, and other stuff are like that winding line. You see people you never thought you'd meet, again, again, and hey... yet again! Then finally, you submit your paper work (you're in the seat and the ride pulls out).

There's much waiting as the ride meanders around getting lined up. (Login Date, wait, wait, wait...)

Then as you reach the bottom of the hill, your referral arrives.

Clack...clack...clack....

From that point forward, every step you take is a clack on the hill. Passports (clack), visas (clack), travel letter (clack), airline tickets (clack). Then one day (Gotcha' Day) you reach the top of the hill (deafening silence). Then the ride really beings.

OK, Ladies and Gentlemen, keep you hands and feet inside the car at all times. Scream if you have to. And enjoy the ride of your life !!

31. All our children's middle names begin with the letter 'E. '
32. We are big sci-fi nerds.
33. We own all the Star Trek movies.
34. And the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
35. And every season of Stargate: SG1 and Atlantis.
36. I read the Harry Potter books.
37. Mike and Miracle have read them also.
38. We also watched the movies.
39. Sam obsessed with video games.
40. He is a video game junkie.
41. Grace's favorite things are dance and art.
42. She thinks she wants to be an artist, or maybe teach dance.
43. They watch Monsters versus Aliens almost every day.
44. And Teen Titans Go!
45. I'd rather watch Blue Bloods or Supernatural.

48. Mike and I like peanut M&Ms.
49. Miracle likes plain.

93. She likes to read the yelling parts.
94. Miracle read both series when she was little.
95. I hate to dust.
96. Mike hates to do yard work.
97. Our house is usually messy.
98. Our yard usually needs mowed.
