Our Big Vacation: Day 1

We pulled from the driveway at 6:10 am.

We had lunch at Ruby Tuesday's in Knoxville.

Sam threw up just past the Georgia welcome center.

We drove through Atlanta and hope to never do so again.

The kids swam and swam and swam at our hotel.

We had Papa John's and Poptarts for supper.

How could it possibly get any better?

26. I thought I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up.

28. We homeschool.
29. I like to drink Coke and sweet tea.
30. I think if you can't crunch the sugar in your tea, it's not sweet enough.
31. All our children's middle names begin with the letter 'E. '
32. We are big sci-fi nerds.
33. We own all the Star Trek movies.
34. And the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
35. And every season of Stargate: SG1 and Atlantis.
36. I read the Harry Potter books.
37. Mike and Miracle have read them also.
38. We also watched the movies.
39. Sam obsessed with video games.
40. He is a video game junkie.
41. Grace's favorite things are dance and art.
42. She thinks she wants to be an artist, or maybe teach dance.
43. They watch Monsters versus Aliens almost every day.
44. And Teen Titans Go!
45. I'd rather watch Blue Bloods or Supernatural.

47. I have brown/blonde hair and am tan.
48. Mike and I like peanut M&Ms.
49. Miracle likes plain.
50. Sam and Grace eat both.
51. We love ColdStone Creamery.
52. We also like Receese's Cup Blizzards.
53. Pizza is the perfect food.
54. We do not drink coffee.
55. Or expresso.
56. Or cappuccino.
57. I like the smell of coffee beans.

59. Mike is very good in math and science.

61. Mike graduated third in his class.

63. We keep our camera out all the time.

67. It seats five, but Miracle does not enjoy it.

70. Miracle finally has a room all to herself.

75. Grace is in fourth grade now.

81. Miracle is a senior in high school.
82. And a freshman in college.
83. She wants to be a therapist.
84. I told her she will get plenty of practice on her own family.
85. My mom and both Mike's parents are from West Virginia.
86. Isn't that weird?
87. We love to vacation in the Smokies.
88. I'd like to live on the beach.
89. One day I'm going to Bora Bora.
90. Sam's favorite books are "Captain Underpants. "
91. That's funny, cause he didn't used to wear any.
92. Grace likes Junie B. Jones books.
93. She likes to read the yelling parts.
94. Miracle read both series when she was little.
95. I hate to dust.
96. Mike hates to do yard work.
97. Our house is usually messy.
98. Our yard usually needs mowed.
99. But that's okay.
