Back to the beach we went this morning, but we didn't stay long.
The waves were rougher this morning. They were actually curling as they came towards to shore. Miracle refused to go in, but Grace plopped down in the sand and waited for the water to rush up to her. She couldn't go down too close or she would have been swept away. As it was, the water scooted her around on the sand.
If I ever talk Mike into moving to a tropical locale, he has found something to do. He's really taken to shelling. He sifts patiently through fish, crabs, mussels, and shells, seeking the highly prized shark tooth. Or just a shell that catches his fancy. But the point is there is hope!!
We returned to the house and the rest of the gang hit the pool. It has been raining quite a lot down here, and the water was just too cold for me. The seemed to enjoy it, though. They were in for almost two hours.
Tomorrow it's supposed to storm all day. We're debating driving up to Tampa to visit their aquarium. If the kids can't swim we'll have to find something to keep them occupied or mayhem will occur.
