It's Finally Happened

I've been a mommy for ten years now. A lot of unexpected things have happened in that time, but tonight takes the cake.

First let me give some history. Mike and I take turns bathing Grace and Sam. Every time Mike bathes Sam, Sam pees in the water. Last night, it was twice in one bath! We laugh about this because he usually doesn't when I bathe him. It's just one of those funny things.

Tonight was my turn to bathe Sam. He started out by peeing on his foot almost as soon as I put him in the tub. I finished his bath and he was splashing around and laughing at Grace. I was watching and thinking to myself, "Hmmmm. We've only had one dirty diaper today." I thought too soon. Yep. He pooped in the tub. He's the first one of my children to do that.

I got him out and wrapped him in a towel then carried him into my bedroom. As I was drying him off, Grace kept going into the bathroom. You would hear, "EEEEEEEEUUUUUUUUUWWWWWWW!" (I hadn't taken the time to clean the tub, as I thought getting a diaper on Sam was more important.) I told her to stop going in there, then she wouldn't be disgusted any more.

30. I think if you can't crunch the sugar in your tea, it's not sweet enough.
31. All our children's middle names begin with the letter 'E. '
32. We are big sci-fi nerds.
33. We own all the Star Trek movies.
34. And the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
35. And every season of Stargate: SG1 and Atlantis.
36. I read the Harry Potter books.
37. Mike and Miracle have read them also.
38. We also watched the movies.
39. Sam obsessed with video games.
40. He is a video game junkie.
41. Grace's favorite things are dance and art.
42. She thinks she wants to be an artist, or maybe teach dance.
43. They watch Monsters versus Aliens almost every day.
44. And Teen Titans Go!
45. I'd rather watch Blue Bloods or Supernatural.

83. She wants to be a therapist.
84. I told her she will get plenty of practice on her own family.

87. We love to vacation in the Smokies.
88. I'd like to live on the beach.
89. One day I'm going to Bora Bora.
90. Sam's favorite books are "Captain Underpants. "
91. That's funny, cause he didn't used to wear any.
92. Grace likes Junie B. Jones books.
93. She likes to read the yelling parts.
94. Miracle read both series when she was little.
95. I hate to dust.
96. Mike hates to do yard work.
97. Our house is usually messy.
98. Our yard usually needs mowed.
99. But that's okay.
