18 years ago today, we became Mr and Mrs.
He wore a black tux with an ivory vest and very shiny shoes.
I wore and ivory dress over a hoop and ballet slippers that were not.
Right before we walked down the aisle my dad looked at me and asked, "Are you sure you want to do this? You don't have to if you don't want to."
I assured him I was sure.
It's still the best decision I ever made.
