Kung Fu Saturday

OK. I am guilty. I had hoped to get these posted before, but I am still working on the whole free-time thing.

On April 30th, Miracle had her Kung Fu competition. She participated in 3 events, plus a bonus "sumo" event. Below are some photo hilights.

First on the list were standard form events.

And she also sparred. How many of you thought you'd ever see Miracle fighting?

I didn't get pictures of the Sumo event, as Grace was ready to go (she was way past her nap time and stuck in a gymnasium). So she and I missed the Sumo. I'll have to just say that I know Miracle LOVES Sumo.

32. We are big sci-fi nerds.
33. We own all the Star Trek movies.
34. And the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
35. And every season of Stargate: SG1 and Atlantis.
36. I read the Harry Potter books.
37. Mike and Miracle have read them also.
38. We also watched the movies.
39. Sam obsessed with video games.
40. He is a video game junkie.
41. Grace's favorite things are dance and art.
42. She thinks she wants to be an artist, or maybe teach dance.
43. They watch Monsters versus Aliens almost every day.
44. And Teen Titans Go!
45. I'd rather watch Blue Bloods or Supernatural.

93. She likes to read the yelling parts.
94. Miracle read both series when she was little.
95. I hate to dust.
96. Mike hates to do yard work.
97. Our house is usually messy.
98. Our yard usually needs mowed.
99. But that's okay.
