How in the world is it possible July already? How did this happen?
I'm pretty sure the days were longer when I was a kid.
Maybe it's because all I had to do was ride my bike, play in the creek, go swimming, lay in the yard and do absolutely nothing.
Times certainly have changed. These days it's laundry, fixing lunch, doing school with Sam, and running Miracle all over God's creation.
But we did take the time to catch fireflies the other night. And we've had a couple cookouts with friends. The kids have spent a lot of time in the pool. Mike took a week's vacation and did nothing except NOT go to work.
I heart summer. It's still my fave.
