And Now I Lament the Loss of July

I have been horrible at blogging this summer. Other things always seem to get in the way.

Things like taking Miracle and friends to play practice four times a week for four weeks and then five times on tech week plus performance days.

Things like a Family Fun Day our church sponsored at a local park. It was so stinkin' hot! But everyone seemed to have a good time. I even played in the sprinkler with a friend.

Things like watching the kiddos be fishes in the backyard pool, of have a wild and crazy water gun fight.

Things like an unexpected doctor visit for an ear that has so much fluid in it it's dripping out. Then, three trips to the pharmacy to get medicine that will actually kill what's growing in there.

Things like catching fireflies in the back yard.

Things more important than blogging.

31. All our children's middle names begin with the letter 'E. '
32. We are big sci-fi nerds.
33. We own all the Star Trek movies.
34. And the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
35. And every season of Stargate: SG1 and Atlantis.
36. I read the Harry Potter books.
37. Mike and Miracle have read them also.
38. We also watched the movies.
39. Sam obsessed with video games.
40. He is a video game junkie.
41. Grace's favorite things are dance and art.
42. She thinks she wants to be an artist, or maybe teach dance.
43. They watch Monsters versus Aliens almost every day.
44. And Teen Titans Go!
45. I'd rather watch Blue Bloods or Supernatural.

92. Grace likes Junie B. Jones books.
93. She likes to read the yelling parts.
94. Miracle read both series when she was little.
95. I hate to dust.
96. Mike hates to do yard work.
97. Our house is usually messy.
98. Our yard usually needs mowed.
99. But that's okay.
100. We don't care.
