In two days my baby prince-boy will be 5. And I'm not ashamed to admit to having a problem with that. There's just something about 5. He's not a little boy anymore. He's moved beyond toddler, or even pre-schooler.
He's (almost) 5.
He's in kindergarten.
He's learning how to write his letters and numbers.
People, he's learning how to read!
I'm pretty sure the baby days are over.
Anyway, we had his birthday party this past Saturday. On a side note, a March birthday is a difficult thing. You have to do something inside because the weather is very unreliable (and usually cold and wet). We chose bowling, and I'm pretty sure it was a good choice. With lots of family and friends to join the fun, we spent the afternoon bowling, eating cake and pizza, and celebrating Sam.
