Please Tell Me They Did NOT Say That

My children are very gifted. They can say things to embarrass you, no matter where you are.

Last night, we had dinner at our local Chinese place. Everything was going great. The kids like it there, so they always eat really well. We got to sit near the picture of the Great Wall. Grace really enjoys that. She recognizes it and says it's from "my China." Last time, she actually told us she was in the picture. But Sissy wasn't.

Okay then.

But back to last night.

Our waiter had just stopped by to pick up some plates and asked if anyone needed anything else. Grace looked at him and said, "I like you hair." He didn't hear her (thankfully), but he probably thought we were idiots (or else really rude) because we all burst out laughing.

Good times.

Then this morning, Grace shone a spotlight on my (lack of) cleaning skills. Sam was lifting up the cushion of the "man chair" and peeking underneath. Grace was right there beside him. Evidentially, they found something they liked because Grace said, "Can I have some, too, Sam?" Yep. They had found food underneath the cushion. And they were eating it.
